Description : In strong suns-yellow shining, excessive smells of ripe quinces, apricots and walnuts rise up in the nose. Later subtle-spicy aromas of some Grapefruit, forest honey and black pepper follow. In the palate as well strong imposingly, led from a delicate lemony acid and a muscular fine-balanced body, a juicy fruit sweetness entices the wine lover. However, the full Minerality looks dynamic and refreshes the palate. A crowning final finds this 2011th Pinot Gris Calcaire in an impressive fruity-spicy departure carried by dried fruit aromas. A wine like saturated from the warm rays of the autumn sun.
Food pairing : apricot cake, chicken pie, pastries and “mousse au chocolat”.
